One-Day Internship ™

for IT Helpdesk

About this event

Hosted by Tutor10x

Join our One-Day Internship™ Hackathon — designed for students interested in IT support, data migration, and institutional system operations. In just 4 hours, you’ll take on real challenges inspired by live projects from ASA Institute of Higher Education and experience what it’s like to work as an IT Helpdesk Intern.

Participants will tackle tasks such as supporting data and systems migration projects (e.g., transferring Zoom recordings and assessment data), assisting with helpdesk support for students and lecturers, and contributing to LMS enhancements — including cloning subject content, updating blueprints, and improving usability.

You’ll also engage in activities related to data analysis, such as extracting and visualising academic results and student feedback to support institutional improvement efforts. Documentation and process finalisation will round out the challenge.

Throughout the session, participants will receive guidance and feedback from experienced mentors to help them perform at their best.
